Meet Lisa

Hello and welcome! I’m Lisa, owner of Earthly Hounded Rocks & Creations, and I’m so grateful you’re here.

I’ve loved rocks for as long as I can remember. What started as a childhood habit of picking up interesting stones eventually grew into a passion for rockhounding, cutting slabs, and discovering the incredible colors and patterns nature creates.

After more than 40 years in the mortgage industry, I retired and finally had the opportunity to turn that lifelong passion into something more. Since moving to Arizona with my husband, Jim, the desert has become my favorite place to explore, and rockhounding has become a true family adventure.

Earthly Hounded wouldn’t be possible without my family. Jim is beside me every step of the way—helping cut slabs, maintain our equipment, and keep everything running. Our daughter has helped bring my dream online through our website, photography, listings, and social media, allowing us to share these beautiful pieces with rock lovers across the country.

Many of our stones are personally rockhounded here in Arizona, while others are carefully selected from trusted sources. Every piece is chosen because it’s something I genuinely love and would be proud to keep in my own collection.
