I've always had a passion for rocks. Ever since I was young, I found myself picking up interesting stones wherever I went. There has always been something fascinating to me about the colors, the patterns, and knowing that every piece has spent millions of years being shaped by nature. To me, they're more than just rocks—they're tiny pieces of Earth's history, each with its own story waiting to be discovered.

For over 40 years, I worked full-time in the mortgage industry. It was a career I was proud of, helping families achieve the dream of homeownership, but my heart was always drawn to the outdoors and to rockhounding. After my husband Jim and I moved to Arizona about five years ago, that passion grew into something I never imagined.

I spent years working 40 hours a week at my mortgage job, then turning right around and spending another 40 hours exploring the Arizona desert, searching for beautiful material, cutting slabs, learning everything I could, and simply doing what I loved. I never watched the clock because it never felt like work—it was where I found peace, excitement, and purpose.

After retiring at 62, I finally had the opportunity to dedicate myself fully to this dream. What started as a hobby has become a true family business, and I couldn't be more thankful.

I also couldn't do this without my husband, Jim. While I'm always dreaming about the next rockhounding adventure, he's right beside me making those dreams possible. He spends countless hours helping cut slabs, maintaining our equipment, fixing our tools, and making sure everything keeps running smoothly. He's my biggest supporter, my teammate, and my best friend. His love, encouragement, and willingness to jump in wherever he's needed mean more to me than words can say.

Our daughter has also become an incredible part of this journey. She has taken my dream and helped bring it online by creating our website, building our Etsy shop, helped edit and photographing every slab, writing our listings, and helping us share our passion with customers all across the United States. Watching this grow into something we can build together as a family has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Every slab you see has been chosen because I genuinely fell in love with it. Whether I found it myself while rockhounding or carefully selected it from trusted sources, I only offer pieces that I would proudly keep in my own collection. My hope is that when you open your package, you'll feel the same excitement I felt when I first held that stone in my hands.
